Updates

Sorry guys... don't look for updates for a bit.

I deleted everything tonight while watching the World Juniors... I've lost a little bit of faith in hockey and I don't know if I'm gonna finish any of these stories or even continue writing fanfiction.

^^ It might seem melodramatic but I have major issue where my juniors are concerned...

sorry.

  6. Hey Zigh,

I’m a long-time reader, and first-time commenter here. I remember where I was in 2004 when Canada also lost the gold, and seeing the replays of Fleury still gets me choked up. I can also recall later on in 2004 when the Flames (my western conference team...I am Canadian afterall, so I guess I’m obligated to support a Canadian team! Haha) lost in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to Tampa Bay. I remember in 2008 when the Penguins lost to Detroit in the Finals. I’ve cried so many tears over hockey in the past, and likely still will in the future. Disappointment also makes me question why I do this to myself- is it really worth the stress and turmoil that I seem to put myself through?

However, I also remember where I was when Canada won the gold in Salt Lake City 2002, who I was with when Jordan Eberle tied the semi-final game against Russia last year with 5.4 seconds left in the third, and I remember screaming my head off (and bawling) when the Pens gave a giant “fuck you” to the Wings (and Hossa!) last year. Bottom line, things will get better. The boys played their hearts out at the end of the game tonight, the fact that they tied it up was unreal (how lucky is Edmonton to have Eberle for the future, the kid is SO clutch). But right now, it fucking sucks...I’m pissed, so I understand wanting to get away from hockey, fanfiction, etc. for a while.

But I just wanted you to know that you’re an amazing writer, and thank you so much for sharing this, and your other stories, with us. Somehow you have even convinced me to like Ovechkin...which I will continue to deny if anyone else asks me about it...haha. Anyways, do what you need to do, and I hope that eventually you will write again. Besides, we need some time to get geared up for the Olympics, where we can really show the world that Canada dominates!

Anyways, I hope this didn’t come off as bitchy or anything! I just wanted to share some of my own experiences and heartaches...as well as happy memories. Your readers love you, and we’ll always be here loyally waiting :)

  8. Zigh, I know how you feel, but I completely agree with the others. You are an amazing writer and you don't even know how much your stories mean to everyone who reads them. Even if you don't continue to write (which I hope you do) know that you have an amazing talent.<3

  10. Zigh,

I'm not gonna sugarcoat this like everyone else. Ehat kind of fan are you if you pull a stunt like that just cos your team didn't pull of a win this time??!!
I am quite thrilled that the USA won. I wouldn't so blatantly say that (even though I am) in lew of you being in turmoil over it, but you are absolutely being ridiculous. There were a lot of people who enjoyed what you wrote, and you were good at it. I honestly cannot believe you or mariabprice. Unbelievable.

After this, I'm completely effin done with the world. I think I'll just delete it.
